Changing Lives…One Step At A Time
Kidney Ride, Glide, Stride 2014
For more than a decade, thousands of participants have taken steps to make a difference in the lives of Manitobans affected by kidney disease. Walkers, runners, and cyclists along with volunteers, organizers, supporters, and sponsors make it all happen.
Over $400,000 has been raised since the inaugural event. These efforts go toward helping the Foundation implement important education and prevention programs throughout the province. These programs aim to combat kidney disease, help improve the well-being of kidney patients and their families, and increase awareness of the need for more organ donors.
We invite you to join this fundraising event in which participants collect pledges to participate in a 2km walk, 5km run or 10km bike ride. This family-oriented event is geared toward people of all ages. Come on out, lace up your shoes, and join in the fun! Food, entertainment, children’s activities, prizes and more will be provided. Add some fun and create a team of two or more participants. .
