For more than a decade, thousands of participants have taken steps to make a difference in the lives of Manitobans affected by kidney disease. Over a half million dollars has been raised since the first event! This event is about having fun and supporting an important cause. Those with mobility challenges are invited too - we have a short route just for you!
Events like this help raise funds towards implementing important education and prevention programs throughout the province. These programs aim to combat kidney disease, help improve the well-being of kidney patients and their families, and increase awareness of the need for more organ donors. About Kidney Walk
Kidney Walk is an opportunity for patients on dialysis, organ transplant recipients, their families, living donors, the medical community, and the public to come together to raise awareness about the importance of kidney health and organ donation. Bring your family and friends and make a tangible difference in the lives of the 1 in 10 Canadians (1 in 8 Manitobans) living with kidney disease. Each step is part of our collective passion to create a better future.
Join us - your participation will help thousands of people affected by kidney disease and make a difference for those who hope for a better future while awaiting a kidney transplant. About The Kidney Foundation of Canada – Manitoba Branch
