Your Support Means the World to Kids with Kidney Disease
Our team is from the Alberta Children's Hospital
in Calgary. Staff, parents and friends. We are
taking part in Kidney March - a 3 day, 100 km journey
from Kananaskis to Calgary. This is more than just a walk; we are joining with
hundreds of others as a united front against kidney disease.
Kidney disease affects kids. Not huge numbers of
kids but too many. It affects children who are just born, toddlers, children
and young adults. The burden of kidney disease is always great; for children and their families it can be enormous.
On September 9th, 10th, and 11th our team will make noise for this cause.
Kidney March asks our team to do the most we have ever done for kidney disease.
It will be a personal challenge to walk the 100 kilometres over 3 days. Please
help us with our second challenge - to raise a minimum of $40,000 as a
team by generously donating to any of our team members.
In supporting our team, you are supporting The Kidney Foundation
of Canada. Funds raised by Kidney March help the Foundation carry
out kidney disease prevention, lifesaving research and organ donation
Your donation means a lot to our kids. Thank you for taking up the torch on
behalf of the thousands of children in Canada who have chronic kidney
disease. The time to make a difference is now.
Failure is not an option
for children with kidney disease.
